🍽️ Job Title: Assistant Cook (with Peon Responsibilities)

About the Role:

Naumi Mining Company is looking for a dedicated Assistant Cook who is also willing to handle basic peon duties as needed. The ideal candidate will help prepare and deliver high-quality meals for our team and guests, while also assisting with support tasks like serving, cleaning, or carrying supplies.

This is a dual-role position for someone who is flexible, responsible, and committed to maintaining kitchen standards as well as basic office/housekeeping support.

Key Responsibilities (Cook Role):

• Prepare and cook meals in a timely, hygienic, and consistent manner.

• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils, tools, and equipment.

• Study recipes and gather all necessary ingredients before cooking.

• Slightly modify recipes to suit dietary preferences (e.g. no dairy, exclude nuts).

• Supervise or assist other kitchen staff when needed.

• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the kitchen area.

• Discard expired or low-quality food items.

• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities (Peon Role):

• Assist in carrying groceries, ingredients, and other supplies.

• Clean tables, wash dishes, and keep the dining area tidy.

• Run small errands for the kitchen or office staff.

• Serve food and beverages during staff meals or events.

• Support the admin team with basic day-to-day chores (e.g., file movement, tea/water serving).

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass

• 0.5 to 5 years of experience in cooking or kitchen assistance

• Knowledge of traditional & modern cooking techniques

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene & sanitation practices

• Good time management and multitasking skills

• Ability to take ownership of kitchen & housekeeping duties

• Culinary diploma or certification is a plus

• Willing to work flexibly across Goa, Bangalore, or Odisha locations
