We are seeking a creative, skilled, and deadline-driven Multimedia Producer to join our newsroom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling visual and audio content to support news coverage across digital, broadcast, and social media platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, shoot, edit, and package video content for daily news coverage, special reports, and digital features.

• Collaborate with reporters, editors, and the digital team to develop multimedia-rich news stories.

• Record and edit soundbites, voiceovers, and ambient audio for use in reports.

• Ensure timely delivery of multimedia content under tight deadlines.

• Maintain video equipment, software, and media archives.

• Publish and optimize content for web, social media, and mobile platforms.

• Stay current on trends in digital journalism, video formats, and audience engagement.

• Adhere to journalistic standards of accuracy, fairness, and ethics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Film/Media Production, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in multimedia production within a news environment.

• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced editorial team.

• Familiarity with newsroom workflows, media law, and ethical guidelines.

• Flexible to work odd hours, weekends, or during breaking news events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of livestreaming and video publishing platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook Live).

• Skills in data visualization or animation is a plus.

• Basic reporting or scripting ability is advantageous.
