Job Title: Cashier

Location: BigWing – MRT

Department: Front Office / Accounts

Reports To: Branch Manager / Accountant / Admin Head

🎯 Job Objective:

To ensure accurate handling of cash and digital transactions, maintain proper billing records, and provide prompt service to customers at the BigWing MRT dealership. The cashier plays a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of daily operations and ensuring smooth customer experience.

🛠️ Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Invoicing

Generate invoices for vehicle sales, service jobs, accessories, and spare parts.

Verify job card details and apply appropriate taxes, discounts, and schemes as per company policy.

2. Cash & Payment Handling

Collect payments via cash, card, UPI, or online transfers.

Issue proper receipts and ensure zero short/excess cash situations.

Maintain daily cash collection report and hand over cash to the accountant/banker as per SOP.

3. Daily Cash Reconciliation

Prepare and reconcile daily cash and bank reports.

Record all transactions accurately in the system.

Report any discrepancies immediately to the Accountant or Admin Head.

4. Customer Handling

Greet customers courteously and guide them through the billing process.

Handle payment-related customer queries or complaints with a problem-solving attitude.

5. Coordination with Internal Teams

Coordinate with the sales, service, and spares teams for invoice generation and payments.

Work closely with the accounts department for daily closings and audits.

6. Document Management

Maintain records of receipts, bills, and transaction copies.

Assist in submitting documents required for audit, banking, or reporting purposes.

7. Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure all billing practices follow tax regulations (GST, etc.)

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary records.

✅ Key Requirements:

Qualification: Minimum B.Com / Graduate in Commerce or related field

Experience: 1–3 years in cashiering, preferably in automobile or retail

Skills:

Knowledge of billing software (DMS, Tally, or ERP)

Strong numerical accuracy

Basic MS Excel and email handling

Good communication and customer service attitude
