Job Summary:

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all cash transactions at Gopalan Cinemas. The ideal candidate should be responsible, customer-focused, and efficient in handling billing, payments, and maintaining accurate records for day-to-day transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital transactions at cinema counters.

• Issue tickets and bills accurately to customers.

• Reconcile cash balance at the end of each shift and maintain proper documentation.

• Assist customers with billing inquiries and ensure a smooth service experience.

• Coordinate with the F&B and operations team for order accuracy and service efficiency.

• Maintain a clean and organized work counter.

• Follow company policies for financial transactions and ensure zero cash discrepancies.

• Report any cash shortages, excesses, or operational issues to the Supervisor/Manager immediately.

• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards at the workplace.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: 12th pass / Graduate (any discipline).

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in cinemas, retail, or F&B operations.

• Skills:

  • Good numerical and accounting skills.

  • Basic computer and POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail.
