Job Title: Stenographer

Key Responsibilities
Take dictations in shorthand with speed and accuracy and transcribe them efficiently into legal drafts and documents.
Prepare pleadings, petitions, appeals, SLPs, writs, and other legal documentation as dictated by advocates.
Maintain and type case briefs, notes, and correspondence with high confidentiality.
Ensure formatting and correctness of legal drafts before filing.
Manage case-related files, documents, and e-filing support as required.
Coordinate with advocates, clerks, and juniors for smooth documentation flow.
Maintain a record of dictated drafts, revisions, and final submissions.
Handle urgent dictations and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements & Skills
Proven work experience as a Stenographer / Personal Assistant / Legal Typist.
Shorthand speed of at least 80–100 wpm and typing speed of 50–60 wpm.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal formatting.
