Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement and supply chain process of our organization. The role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely purchase of materials, maintaining stock levels, and controlling costs while upholding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
Manage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of raw materials, machinery, and other goods.
Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices and terms.
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure quality compliance.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production departments.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved quality.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all procurement-related activities.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and avoid shortages or overstocking.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
