We are looking for a Purchase Manager/Purchase Head to join our team at Mumbai plant. an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Job Title: Purchase Manager/ Head

Department: Procurement/Purchase

Reports To: Director / General Manager

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Salary: 25K to 45K

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.

• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.

• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Lead and mentor the purchase team.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Accounts, etc.) for smooth workflow.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Maintain records and manage tool room inventory

• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime

• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed

• Collaborate with teams for tool improvements and new mold trials

• Knowledge of technical specifications and ability to read engineering drawings is a plus.  Strong leadership and team management skills.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 5 - 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
