Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
- Source and purchase raw materials required for the creation of hampers, gifts, and edible items.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet production schedules and inventory needs.
- Manage bulk purchasing, handling transactions up to ₹2-3 lakhs daily.
2. Vendor Relationship:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with vendors to optimize costs.
3. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings.
4. Fieldwork and Exhibitions:
- Actively participate in exhibitions and trade shows to expand the supplier network.
- Be prepared to travel for on-field purchases as required.
5. Budget Management:
- Manage a monthly purchasing budget of ₹50-60 lakhs.
- Monitor and report on procurement expenses and savings.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and vendor performance.
