Role Overview

The Purchase Executive – IT Hardware is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT hardware products and related services. The role ensures timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards, vendor relationships, and inventory accuracy. The candidate will work closely with the IT and finance teams to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for IT hardware such as laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, printers, peripherals, and accessories.

• Initiate RFQs, compare quotations, and prepare cost analysis sheets.

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and warranties with vendors.

2. Purchase Operations

• Process purchase requests and generate purchase orders.

• Ensure timely delivery of goods and track shipments.

• Coordinate with the IT team to verify specifications, compatibility, and quality.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

3. Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with hardware vendors, distributors, and OEMs.

• Monitor vendor performance (pricing, quality, delivery timelines).

• Identify new vendors to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs.

• Strong knowledge of IT hardware products and specification standards.

• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
