Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, and production and distribution capabilities.
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.
Raise purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up for on-time deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand material or service requirements.
Track inventory to avoid overstocking or shortages and ensure reorder levels are maintained.
Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
Resolve supply issues such as delays, defects, or missed deliveries.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Executive, Procurement Officer, or similar role (typically 1–3 years).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing best practices.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
