Job Title: Operations Manager
Industry: JB Tours and Travel Agency
Location: Sandhurst Road, Mumbai.
CTC: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience and performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our Tours and Travel agency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ticketing sales (GDS & LCC), holiday packages, client coordination, and team supervision. A strong focus on communication, punctuality, and customer satisfaction is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of ticketing, bookings, and holiday package sales.

• Handle bookings for GDS systems (1-3 years’ experience required) and Low-Cost Carriers (e.g., Indigo, Akasa, SpiceJet, etc.).

• Oversee and ensure timely ticketing, amendments, and cancellations as per client requirements.

• Meet and interact with clients for custom travel planning and support.

• Supervise and guide the operations team to meet business targets and service levels.

• Monitor and manage vendor and client accounts; basic knowledge of accounts is essential.

• Maintain communication with airlines, hotels, and travel partners for smooth operations.

• Ensure accurate documentation and timely invoicing.

• Be available to handle urgent matters even after office hours if needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ticketing and travel operations, with expertise in GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo).

• Strong knowledge of Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) operations and fare structures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask, manage pressure, and handle operational issues independently.

• Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Basic proficiency in accounting or billing related to travel bookings.

• Leadership qualities to manage and supervise employees effectively.

• Flexible availability, including outside regular office hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism or Hospitality.

• Certification in GDS systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with holiday package creation and customization.
