To manage, prepare, and process all import and export documentation required for smooth and timely customs clearance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and client-specific requirements.
Prepare and verify all export and import documentation (Shipping Bills, Bills of Entry, Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, etc.).
Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, transporters, CHA (Customs House Agent), and internal teams for document collection and submission.
Ensure accuracy of all documents in accordance with customs regulations and client instructions.
Track shipment status and update clients and management on progress.
Maintain records of all shipments, clearances, and correspondence for audit and compliance purposes.
Liaise with customs officials and other regulatory authorities to resolve documentation or clearance issues.
Prepare MIS reports and maintain filing systems (both digital and physical).
Stay updated on latest customs policies, HS codes, duty structures, and related regulations.
Assist in preparing post-clearance documentation and reports for billing and audit purposes.
Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in documentation or customs clearance (import/export).
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping terms (Incoterms), and trade documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
