We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Document Verification Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and authenticating a wide variety of documents submitted by clients, customers, or employees to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable guidelines and policies.
Review and verify submitted documents for accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Validate identification documents, certificates, proofs of address, employment records, etc.
Flag and report discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential fraud to relevant authorities or departments.
Maintain records of verification activities and update internal databases accordingly.
Communicate with clients/customers to request missing or additional documentation.
Ensure data confidentiality and security while handling sensitive information.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance standards.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., HR, legal, onboarding) to support verification processes.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior experience in document verification, compliance, data entry, or a related role is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Familiarity with document verification tools/software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.
Familiarity with local and international document types.
Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Office-based or remote depending on company policy.
May require extended screen time and data review periods.
