We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to input, update, and maintain accurate data in our computer systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of data confidentiality.
Enter data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, or systems from source documents.
Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
Review data for errors, correct any incompatibilities, and ensure the final output is error-free.
Maintain and update information on company databases and computer systems.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 40+ WPM).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment (e.g., scanners, printers).
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
Good organizational and time management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Experience with data entry software or CRM systems.
Basic knowledge of database structure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Office-based or remote, depending on company policy.
Typically Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
