Enter daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) into accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in matching entries.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data before entry.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
File and organize financial documents and records physically or digitally.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
Assist in generating invoices and tracking payments.
Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve data-related issues.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company data.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
1–2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance setting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with GST, TDS, and invoice management.
Ability to handle high volumes of data efficiently.
Familiarity with audit documentation requirements.
