We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to enter, update, and maintain accurate data in our computer systems and databases. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Enter data into spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems from various sources.
Review data for accuracy and completeness before entry.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Update and maintain existing data records.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Organize and file digital and paper documents appropriately.
Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection guidelines.
Support other administrative tasks as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in data entry or a similar role preferred.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 40-50 WPM).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
