Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data in our company databases and systems. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Input, update, and maintain accurate data in databases and spreadsheets.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check outputs.
Ensure data integrity and security.
Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities.
Generate reports and perform backups as required.
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Perform regular quality checks on entered data.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment (e.g. scanners, printers).
