Job Purpose: To drive CASA business through customer acquisition, servicing, and crossselling at the branch level. The Relationship Officer will play a critical role in identifying potential customers, ensuring smooth disbursal of loans, and maintaining strong relationships while adhering to compliance and operational guidelines. Functional Role: BANK OFFICER - CASA SALES Job Code: Qualification: Minimum Graduation Business Unit: Gold Loan Location: PAN India Department: Sales Relevant Experience: 0-3 years of experience. Functional Competencies: Understanding of CASA products and lending process. Customer service and sales orientation. Basic knowledge of documentation, KYC, and credit norms. Data entry and basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, banking software). Ability to manage fieldwork and customer visits. Behavioural Competencies: High level of integrity and ethical conduct. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and target driven. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Discipline, punctuality, and professional grooming. Job Responsibilities: Financial Responsibilities: Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for gold loan disbursement and portfolio growth. Cross-sell insurance, savings accounts, and other financial products to gold loan customers. Monitor repayments and minimize delinquencies by ensuring timely collections. Assist in cash handling and safe documentation during gold loan processing (if required). Support the branch in enhancing profitability through quality sourcing and customer retention Non-financial Responsibilities: Conduct field visits and community outreach to source gold loan customers. Verify gold and KYC documents, ensure accurate data entry and loan application processing. Provide clear communication to customers on interest rates, terms, and repayment schedules. Maintain regular follow-ups with customers for renewals, top-ups, and feedback. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive and transparent service. Assist in maintaining branch hygiene, proper storage of pledged gold, and accurate record-keeping. Coordinate with valuation personnel and back-office teams for seamless loan disbursal Compliance and Risk Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to all internal policies, RBI regulations, and operational procedures for gold loans. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction data. Follow security protocols for gold storage and handling. Report suspicious transactions or potential frauds immediately to reporting authority. Ensure documentation is audit-ready and error-free. Additional Requirements: Must own a mobile phone and two-wheeler (bike) for daily field activities. Should be comfortable using computers, emails, and banking applications for daily reporting and data entry. Willingness to travel locally for customer sourcing and service.
