Data entry and validation of proposal forms, quotations, and policy details.
Preparation and issuance of policy documents, endorsements, and renewals.
Uploading and maintaining policy information in CRM or core insurance systems.
Checking and verifying premium details, risk information, and customer KYC.
Assist underwriters by preparing risk summaries, MIS reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with front-end teams for missing or incomplete information.
Review proposals for accuracy and completeness before submission to the insurer.
Maintain claim records and assist in documentation and follow-up with TPA/insurer.
Register new claims, verify claim documents, and ensure timely updates to customers or agents.
Reconcile claim payments and settlements in the system.
Prepare premium registers, payment vouchers, and reconciliation statements.
Coordinate with finance teams for invoice generation, receipting, and settlements.
Track pending payments or recoveries.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on policy issuance, renewals, and claims.
Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal company processes.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer data and business transactions.
Liaise with insurers, TPAs, customers, and internal departments for smooth operations.
Support the sales team by providing backend assistance on quotes and policy status.
Good knowledge of insurance products and processes (Life / General / Health).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM/insurance software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualification: Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any discipline). Certification in Insurance (e.g., Licentiate/Associate) preferred.
Experience: 1–5 years in insurance operations, underwriting support, or claims administration.
Organized, disciplined, and process-oriented.
Team player with problem-solving approach.
Ethical and compliant with regulatory norms.
