About the Role:

Gems Invite is looking for a motivated Backend Fresher to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming concepts, databases, and problem-solving skills. You will assist in building, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications under the guidance of senior developers.

Training Period (First 3 Months):

• Initial 3 months will be training only.

• During this period, candidates will not receive a salary; only travel expenses will be covered by the company.

• Upon successful completion of training, the candidate will be absorbed as a full-time Backend Developer with salary as per company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and databases.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.

• Work with senior developers to troubleshoot and debug issues.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Support in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or pursuing final year).

• Good understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or PHP.

• Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understanding of Git and version control systems.

• Exposure to backend frameworks like Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
