Job Description: Skill Trainer – PM Vishwakarma Yojana Position Title: Skill Trainer Project: PM Vishwakarma Skill Development Scheme Location: [Insert District/Block/State Name] Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Project-Based Number of Positions: Multiple (Trade-wise) About the Program: The PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a flagship initiative by the Government of India to uplift traditional artisans and craftspeople across the country. The scheme provides skill training, recognition, and support to improve livelihoods and preserve traditional practices.We are inviting applications from experienced, passionate, and committed individuals to work as Trainers under this scheme. Join us in building a skilled and self-reliant India.Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct training sessions as per NSQF-aligned curriculum for the assigned trade.Deliver theory and practical sessions in an engaging, inclusive, and outcome-based manner.Conduct pre- and post-assessments, maintain training records, and submit progress reports.Ensure safety and discipline during training sessions.Motivate trainees for self-employment, entrepreneurship, or wage employment.Provide mentoring, career guidance, and handholding support as needed.Coordinate with project staff for smooth execution and compliance with PM Vishwakarma guidelines.Skills Required:Strong command of the trade/skill subject.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to teach in the local language (Hindi or regional language).Basic computer knowledge for reporting and record keeping.Trades for Which Trainers are Required:CarpenterMason (Rajmistri)Blacksmith (Lohar)Barber (Naai)Goldsmith (Sunar)Washerman (Dhobi)Tailor (Darzi)Toy Maker (Traditional)Cobbler (Mochi)Boat Maker(More trades may be added based on local demand)What We Offer:Attractive remuneration based on experience and trade.Opportunity to work on a prestigious government scheme.Certification and recognition from NSDC/SSC (if applicable).A chance to contribute to social impact and nation-building.
