Position Overview:

The Senior Architect – Interior and Exterior Design is responsible for leading the conceptualization, design development, and execution of both interior and exterior architectural projects. This role involves creating cohesive design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to oversee multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership

• Lead the conceptual and schematic design of interior and exterior spaces, ensuring integration of architectural intent and brand identity.

• Develop innovative, sustainable, and functional design concepts aligned with client goals and project context.

• Guide design teams through all project phases — concept, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

• Review and refine design presentations, materials, and finishes for both interiors and façades.

Project Management

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design standards are met.

• Collaborate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants to ensure holistic design coordination.

• Manage client communication, design presentations, and approvals.

• Supervise junior architects, designers, and drafting staff; provide mentorship and quality control.

Technical & Documentation

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D visualizations.

• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.

• Coordinate with contractors during construction to maintain design integrity and resolve site issues.

Quality & Innovation

• Stay current with design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in design methodologies and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.

• Experience: Minimum 6-8+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both interior and exterior projects.

• Licensing: Professional Architect License (preferred).

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and building systems.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in Industrial, commercial, residential.

• Experience integrating sustainable design principles and modern façade systems.

• Proven ability to translate conceptual ideas into high-quality built environments.
