The Junior Site Engineer will assist in supervising and executing interior design projects on-site. The role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring quality finishes, monitoring timelines, and supporting the senior team in delivering projects as per design specifications and client requirements.
Site Execution & Supervision
Assist in day-to-day supervision of interior works (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, false ceiling, flooring, etc.).
Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
Verify workmanship and finishes to maintain quality standards.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other contractors for smooth workflow.
Ensure timely availability of materials and tools for site execution.
Escalate issues or delays to the senior engineer/project manager.
Quality & Safety
Inspect ongoing work and report defects or deviations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and cleanliness at site.
Maintain quality checks at each stage of finishing.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily progress reports, checklists, and site records.
Track material usage and update stock/shortage details.
Document work through site photos and status updates.
Client & Team Support
Assist in preparing sites for client walkthroughs and inspections.
Support senior engineers/designers in resolving site-level queries.
Be present during site measurements, layout markings, and material inspections.
Basic knowledge of interior finishes, carpentry, MEP, and allied works.
Ability to read and understand interior drawings.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Engineering / Architecture or equivalent.
0–2 years of experience in interior site execution (internship/project experience acceptable).
Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and site measurement tools preferred.
