Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Collaborating with architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
Managing timelines and budgets to ensure projects stay on schedule and within cost.
Coordinating material deliveries and usage.
Facilitating communication between project managers and site workers.
Site Management:
Overseeing daily site activities and ensuring smooth workflow.
Monitoring project progress and reporting any issues or delays.
Conducting site inspections and ensuring work meets design specifications and quality standards.
Resolving on-site issues and conflicts.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
Monitoring site safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Preparing daily/weekly progress reports.
Maintaining accurate records of site activities, materials, and personnel.
Team Leadership:
Supervising and leading site workers and subcontractors.
Providing guidance and direction to the team.
Motivating the team to achieve project goals.
Problem Solving:
Identifying and resolving on-site issues and challenges.
Troubleshooting problems related to design, materials, or construction methods.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and focused on quality.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering is often preferred.
Experience with project management software and tools is beneficial.
