Site Engineer – Cleanroom & HVAC Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Supervision

• Execute and supervise installation works of HVAC systems (AHUs, ducts, chillers, FCUs, diffusers, dampers, etc.) and cleanroom components (panels, doors, filters, pass boxes, etc.).

• Ensure installation activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standard engineering practices.

• Monitor day-to-day site progress and ensure work completion within scheduled timelines.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and helpers for smooth workflow.

2. Quality Control & Compliance

• Verify materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and cleanroom classification requirements (ISO, GMP, etc.).

• Conduct inspection of ducting, insulation, filter fitting, and cleanroom panel installations.

• Ensure leak testing, airflow balancing, and HEPA integrity testing are carried out correctly.

• Maintain cleanliness protocols during installation to meet contamination control standards.

3. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams for technical clarifications.

• Interpret HVAC drawings, P&IDs, and cleanroom layout plans for on-site execution.

• Prepare and maintain red-mark drawings for as-built documentation.

• Support commissioning engineers during system testing and validation.

4. Safety & Documentation

• Ensure safety compliance for all on-site personnel according to company and client HSE guidelines.

• Maintain daily site reports, work permits, material receipt records, and manpower logs.

• Prepare progress reports and submit to Project Manager or Client.

5. Commissioning & Handover

• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for HVAC and cleanroom systems.

• Support performance testing (air balancing, temperature/humidity validation, particle count).

• Prepare handover documentation — as-built drawings, test reports, and O&M manuals.

6. Client & Vendor Coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for inspections and approvals.

• Attend project review meetings and provide technical updates.

• Coordinate procurement and delivery of site materials in line with project schedule.

7. Maintenance Support (if applicable)

• Conduct preventive maintenance checks for cleanroom and HVAC systems.

• Monitor performance and ensure corrective actions are taken for system deviations.
