#KeyResponsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Create and modify mechanical designs based on functional, cost, and manufacturability

requirements.

• Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and maintain design documentation.

• Evaluate existing products for improvement in performance, durability, and

manufacturability.

• Implement design changes based on feedback from production, quality, and customers.

• Conduct tolerance analysis, stress analysis (basic FEA knowledge preferred), and design

reviews.

• Work closely with production, purchase, and quality departments to ensure smooth product

realization.

• Support vendor development by providing detailed drawings and clarifications.

• Ensure all design activities comply with company standards and ISO documentation.

• Maintain revision control of drawings and design documents.

• Plan and manage design tasks as per project timelines.

• Provide technical support during prototype, pilot, and production stages.

#Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, casting, and

fabrication.

• Familiarity with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
