Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop CAD designs for textiles, focusing on home furnishing products (cushions, runners, curtains, kitchen towel, etc.).

• Translate mood boards and design briefs into accurate digital patterns and artworks.

• Ensure designs are technically correct and production-ready for weaving, printing, or embroidery.

• Collaborate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams for design feasibility.

• Modify and refine designs based on client/internal feedback.

• Maintain a library of CAD artworks, colorways, and motifs for future projects.

• Research and incorporate latest market trends and color forecasts into designs.

• Ensure timely delivery of design files within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a CAD Designer in the textile/home furnishing industry.

• Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW).

• Strong knowledge of home furnishing design processes (prints, weaves, embroidery, surface ornamentation).

• Excellent sense of color, texture, and patterns.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight deadlines.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
