We are looking for a skilled Interior Designer with hands-on experience in modular furniture design and production drawings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of modular systems, factory-made furniture processes, and detailed technical documentation. You will work closely with clients, production teams, and execution teams to convert design concepts into technically accurate and manufacturable solutions.
Develop design concepts, space plans, and layout solutions for residential/commercial modular furniture projects.
Prepare detailed production drawings, cutting lists, hardware specifications, and installation plans.
Create 2D drawings and 3D renders for modular kitchens, wardrobes, office workstations, storage units, and other modular components.
Work closely with the factory production team to ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for manufacturing.
Select materials, finishes, hardware, and fittings suitable for modular furniture applications.
Conduct client meetings to understand requirements and convert them into design deliverables.
Perform site measurements, verification, and coordinate installation details.
Maintain project documentation, revisions, and technical approvals.
Ensure timely delivery of drawings and coordination to meet production and project timelines.
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Mandatory experience in the modular furniture industry (kitchens, wardrobes, modular commercial interiors, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD (advanced), SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, or equivalent design tools.
Strong ability to create accurate production drawings and technical fabrication details.
Knowledge of modular hardware (hinges, channels, lift-up systems, fittings).
Understanding of factory processes like panel cutting, edge-banding, CNC machining, and assembly.
Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
Strong material and finish knowledge—boards, laminates, acrylics, PU, veneers, hardware brands, etc.
Experience in coordinating directly with modular furniture factories or workshops.
Knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing, and material optimization.
Experience with site supervision and installation alignment.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
