Senior Accountant – Kesar Auto (5–8 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the dealership (Sales, Service, Spares).

• Handle general ledger entries, monthly closing, and reconciliation.

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensure timely payments and collections.

• Prepare financial statements as per company standards (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts using Tally/ERP systems.

2. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

• File monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).

• Manage TDS deduction, payment, and returns.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain audit-ready documentation.

• Liaise with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

3. Banking & Cash Management

• Monitor and reconcile all bank transactions daily.

• Handle bank payments, RTGS/NEFT, loan documents, and OD/CC accounts.

• Maintain petty cash, cash flow tracking, and cash deposits from branches.

4. Payroll & Employee Payments

• Process monthly salary statements.

• Validate attendance inputs and coordinate with HR for final payroll.

• Handle statutory payments like PF/ESI/PT.

5. MIS Reporting

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management.

• Track branch-wise revenue (Sales / Service / Spares).

• Monitor expenses and highlight variances to the Management.

6. Inventory & Asset Tracking

• Reconcile spares stock, workshop consumables, and branch inventories.

• Coordinate with the Parts and Service team for stock audits.

• Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of accounting experience preferably in Automobile Dealerships.

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP software.

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

• Ability to manage branch accounting independently.

• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS dashboards).

• Excellent coordination with Sales, Service, Spares & HR departments.

• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
