Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, GST filing, TDS, and proficient in Tally or similar accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Accounting

• Record and maintain all financial transactions in Tally or accounting software

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare and issue sales invoices, track vendor bills, and ensure timely payments

Banking & Reconciliations

• Handle petty cash and bank transactions

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Coordinate with banks for payments, fund transfers, and other transactions

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

• Handle TDS deduction, payment, and return filing

• Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Payroll Support

• Coordinate with HR/Admin for payroll processing inputs

• Ensure accurate salary accounting and statutory deductions (PF, ESI)

Reporting

• Generate MIS reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Receivables/Payables)

• Support internal audits and liaise with external auditors when required

• Maintain project-wise expense tracking if applicable

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in service or contracting industry

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards

• Proficiency in Tally ERP (or any standard accounting software) and MS Excel

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good time management skills
