The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with statutory compliance in the manufacturing/FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Ensure accurate and timely closing of books of accounts.

• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.

• Handle reconciliations: bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company.

• Monitor and control accounts payable and receivable.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

• Maintain proper documentation and records as per statutory requirements.

• Support ERP system implementation and accounting software operations.

• Review and improve internal controls and accounting processes.

• Supervise junior accounting staff.
