Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting processes while guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, and company policies.

• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings.

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants.

• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant, Accountant, or similar role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA/MBA Finance preferred).

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

• Experience in [insert industry, e.g., FMCG, Manufacturing, Food & Beverages, etc.].

• Exposure to MIS reporting and financial planning.
