About the Role

As a Senior Accounts Executive - Taxation & Finance you will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance and accurate reconciliations for the organization. The role is a mix of technical tax knowledge, client coordination, and audit support. You’ll act as the key link between clients, auditors, and tax consultants, ensuring that Income Tax Assessments and Form 26AS reconciliations are handled seamlessly, accurately, and on time. This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling tax data while also being confident in communicating with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Income Tax Assessment

• Compile financial data for Income Tax Assessment matters as required by authorities and consultants.

• Reconcile Income Tax refunds with TDS (as per Form 26AS and company books), ensuring corrective actions.

🔹 Lower Rate TDS Applications

• Prepare and submit lower rate TDS applications.

• Compile and present data for TDS as required by tax authorities, with follow-ups to the IT Department.

🔹 TRACES Data Management

• Download and summarise data from the TRACES portal.

• Conduct periodic checks for updates and client requirements.

🔹 26AS Reconciliation

• Match income (billing) and TDS (books) with Form 26AS data.

• Work with tax consultants for reconciliations, automation reports, and error resolution.

• Liaise with clients for rectifications and ensure revised filings in TRACES.

🔹 Audit Coordination

• Work closely with auditors and tax consultants for tax assessments, reconciliations, and statutory updates.

🔹 Client Coordination

• Manage account reconciliations and quarterly TDS confirmations.

• Engage with clients to resolve reconciliation issues and gather supporting documentation.

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Finance, Taxation, or Audit.

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Assessment, TDS, and 26AS reconciliation.

• Hands-on experience with the TRACES portal.

• Excellent client management and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
