Job Title: Senior Account Executive
Location: Lalru, Punjab
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head
Experience Required: 4–7 years in a similar role

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, GST filings, TDS, payroll coordination, vendor and customer accounting, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of accounting principles and regulatory requirements and should be capable of independently handling end-to-end accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Monitor and manage daily transactions including vendor invoices and customer payments.

• Ensure timely payments to vendors and follow-up with clients for receivables.

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.

General Ledger & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.

• Journal entries, adjustments, and month-end/year-end closings.

• Assist in trial balance and finalization support to auditors.

Taxation & Compliance:

• File GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.) and TDS returns.

• Ensure timely tax payments and reconcile tax liabilities.

• Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for statutory audits and assessments.

Payroll & Statutory Deductions:

• Coordinate payroll processing with HR or payroll team.

• Manage PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance reporting.

Banking & Reconciliations:

• Prepare bank reconciliations.

• Handle cash flow tracking, fund transfers, and liaison with banks.

Reporting & MIS:

• Generate periodic MIS reports as required by management.

• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software.

• Strong understanding of Indian taxation and compliance (GST, TDS, ITR etc.).
