We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling account balances, preparing month-end close procedures, and producing accurate financial reports. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage general ledger functions and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.

• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS) and internal accounting policies.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Identify process improvements and contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives.

• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance when needed.

• Assist with tax filings and other regulatory requirement
