Job Summary:

Teamex Retail Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily accounting operations and financial reporting of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of TDS, GST, PF/ESIC/PT, HSN rates, and account finalization, with a track record of handling reconciliations, compliance, and monthly closures independently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

GST & Compliance:

• Verify and reconcile GSTR-2B; determine eligible and ineligible input credit.

• Monthly reconciliation and filing of GST returns (including GST Havalas).

• Maintain and review HSN rates for all products and ensure correct classification.

• Ensure timely and accurate TDS deduction, maintenance of TDS sheets, and payment of challans within due dates.

• Handle PF/ESIC/PT entries and submit challans, ensuring compliance and timely closure.

Accounts Management & Reconciliation:

• Track and reconcile commission income and link it with internal wallets to ensure accuracy.

• Track pending purchase/expense bills and reconcile with sundry creditors to ensure closure.

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closure of salaries and sundry debtors.

• Daily closure of suspense accounts with proper remarks and traceability.

• Allocate expenses under appropriate heads in the accounting system.

  Inventory & Asset Management:

• Coordinate monthly discussions on closing stock with the internal team and record it accurately in Tally.

• Ensure proper accounting of fixed assets, capitalization, and depreciation.

Financial Closures & Finalization:

• Participate in monthly/quarterly/yearly closings and assist in account finalization.

• Post and reconcile interest entries on loans monthly as per loan statements.

• Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records with supporting documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, PF/ESIC, and Indian taxation rules.

• Ability to analyze, reconcile, and audit financial data independently.

• Sound understanding of HSN/SAC codes, TDS sections, and compliance deadlines.

• Proficiency in Excel and maintaining structured reports (e.g. TDS sheets, expense trackers).

• Good communication and coordination skills, especially with internal and external stakeholders.

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

• Self-driven with ability to meet deadlines.

• Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Willing to take ownership of accounts and compliance independently
