Key Responsibilities:

• Visit local markets and vendor sites to procure materials as per project or departmental requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.

• Collect quotations, compare pricing, and prepare purchase cost sheets.

• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to optimize cost and quality.

• Issue purchase orders and coordinate for timely material delivery.

• Inspect goods on receipt to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Maintain proper documentation including purchase orders, delivery challans, and vendor invoices.

• Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and local vendors.

• Report market trends, price fluctuations, and vendor feedback to management.

• Support inventory management and track materials delivered to sites.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Stores, Projects, Accounts, etc.) to understand material needs

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Purchase Executive (Field Purchase) to manage on-site procurement activities, source materials and services from local markets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of required goods to project or company sites. The role requires regular field visits, negotiation skills, and hands-on experience in dealing with suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business preferred).

• Diploma in Material Management or Supply Chain is an added advantage.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in field purchase or local procurement.

  Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel locally as part of daily duties.

  • Familiarity with the products or materials relevant to the company’s industry.

  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to procurement.
