Oversee daily financial and accounting operations for logistics activities (billing, freight payments, branch expenses, etc.).
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Monitor freight receivables and vendor payments, ensuring timely billing and recovery.
Manage fuel card expenses, driver advances, and branch-level financial controls.
Handle bank reconciliation, fund flow, and petty cash management.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, E-way bills, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Prepare monthly budgets and financial forecasts for operational cost planning.
Analyze route profitability, cost per trip, and logistics efficiency reports.
Collaborate with branch managers and operations teams for cost control and revenue improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and customers for payment coordination.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA Finance preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounts, preferably in the logistics or transport industry.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks.
Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, financial reports).
Sound understanding of freight billing, route costing, and logistics expenses.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with operations and branch teams.
Experience with digital payment systems and ERP automation.
Knowledge of Power BI or dashboard reporting tools.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple branches.
