What you will do:
All things related to purchase, finance & accounts.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents, invoices, credit, purchase card statements.
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Bookkeeping and documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
Summarise current financial status by collating financial information.
Assist in generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Managing employee reimbursement and company wide travel booking management.
Preparing all requisite bank letters, declaration, POs and statements required by vendors, agencies & MCA
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information from bank, accountants, CA, Vendors, etc.
Prepare payments by verifying documentation and vendor information records.
Maintaining the financial Management Information System (MIS).
Request disbursements and follow up with clients towards collection of receipts.
Resolve accounting procedure doubts by researching and interpreting accounting policy with the Head of Finance or under CA’s guidance.
Experience in handling the cases for EPF, ESIC, Gratuity.
Proper TDS deduction and timely deposit of tax, knowledge of GST
Employees Taxation and Payroll processing.
Able to handle workload and manage activities independently.
Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Management.
Skills you will need:
Must have:
Bachelors in Accounting / Finance / Economics in with 2+ years of experience.
Proficient with Oracle Netsuite/SAP
Good communication skill, must be a team player
Getting things done attitude
Should have:
In-depth understanding of - Handling entire accounting function- accounts & finance, Cash flow, multiple P&L, Budgeting, Costing, Controls , MIS, and taxation ( Direct & Indirect Taxation)
Proficiency in Spreadsheets & MS Office
Nice to have:
Experience with startups preferred.
Fund / working capital management – including DEBT funding, treasury, investments, risk management, compliance preferably in Manufacturing.
