Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Cash Handling

   • Operate POS/billing software to generate invoices accurately.

   • Receive payment through cash, cards, UPI, or other modes, and issue receipts.

   • Maintain cash float and reconcile cash at the end of each shift/day.

   • Report any discrepancies to the Branch Manager immediately.

2. Customer Service

   • Greet customers politely and assist them with billing queries.

   • Ensure a smooth checkout process without delays.

   • Handle customer complaints related to billing professionally.

3. Product & Stock Awareness

   • Be aware of product prices, offers, and discounts to avoid billing errors.

   • Coordinate with sales and store staff for product availability.

4. Record Maintenance

   • Maintain daily sales register, cash report, and handover summary.

   • Keep billing area clean, organized, and presentable.

5. Compliance & Security

   • Follow company SOPs for billing, returns, and exchanges.

   • Ensure safe handling of cash and confidential data.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred).

• Prior experience in retail, billing, or cashier roles (FMCG/sweets/bakery preferred).

• Basic knowledge of computers and billing/POS software.

• Good communication skills in Tamil; knowledge of English/Telugu/Hindi is a plus.

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and festive seasons.
