Job Title: Billing Executive (Medical Store)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

The Billing Executive will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate billing records for all sales, ensuring timely generation of invoices, handling customer queries related to billing, and coordinating with the accounts and inventory departments to maintain smooth operations in the medical store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and print bills for medicine sales using billing software (such as Marg, Tally, or any POS system).

• Verify prescriptions and ensure correct entry of medicines, quantity, and prices.

• Maintain daily cash and credit sales records.

• Handle customer billing queries and ensure proper communication.

• Manage GST billing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Prepare daily sales reports and coordinate with the accounts team.

• Keep track of stock levels and coordinate with the storekeeper for replenishment.

• Ensure accurate entry of discounts, returns, and replacements in the system.

• Assist in end-of-day cash reconciliation and deposit preparation.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum 12th pass or Graduate in Commerce/Accounts preferred.

• Experience: 1–3 years in billing, preferably in a medical store or pharmacy.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Marg, Tally, or similar).

  • Basic knowledge of medicines and medical billing terms.

  • Strong numerical and data entry skills.

  • Good communication and customer service abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
