We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our construction firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, optimizing costs, and supporting project profitability. This position requires strong financial acumen, industry-specific knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor project costing, budget utilization, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and timely filing of returns.
Perform project audits, reconcile accounts, and track expenditures.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization across multiple construction projects.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and statutory bodies.
Review contracts and vendor agreements for financial accuracy and risk.
Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).
Lead monthly and annual closing processes and prepare MIS reports for management.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certified by ICAI.
Minimum 3–7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge of project finance, WIP accounting, revenue recognition, and cost control.
Proficient in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software.
Solid understanding of taxation laws, indirect taxes (GST), and labor compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
