We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain and organize accounting documents and records.
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial matters.
Provide support during audits by preparing relevant documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Perform general administrative and clerical duties related to finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or pursuing a degree).
Proven experience in a similar role is a plus.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) is an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Experience in bookkeeping or account reconciliation.
