Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping and Accounting
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Record journal entries and prepare trial balances.
Reconcile bank statements, customer ledgers, and supplier ledgers.
2. Tax Compliance
Assist in the preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Support the preparation and filing of income tax returns for clients.
3. Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement.
Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Client Coordination
Communicate with clients to collect financial data and address queries.
Provide support in responding to auditor queries and documentation requirements.
5. Administrative Support
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both physical and digital.
Assist senior accountants and managers with various administrative and ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
CA/CMA/CS Intermediate / B.Com
Technical Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or Zoho Books.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Regulatory Knowledge
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
