About The Role
Accountant – Payables & Payroll will be responsible to payroll, vendor management, compliance,
expenses management. The role oversees the expenses and cash outflows of the company.

Responsibilities
Payroll and employee reimbursements - Process and calculate employee salaries, bonuses, and
deductions based on timesheets and company policies. Ensure accurate and timely payroll
distribution while adhering to legal and tax requirements. End to end to email communication to
address all employee queries within given TAT.
Employee reimbursements - Verify and validate the eligible expenses and process reimbursement
requests as per company policy. Process reimbursements accurately and promptly through payroll or
separate payments.
End to end Vendor management – Managing the entire O2P cycle right from onboarding of vendors to
booking the expenses, making payments to periodic reconciliations. Handling the relationship with all
vendors.
Asset & Expenses - Track, manage, and maintain records of company assets and expenses to
optimize resource utilization. Ensure accurate accounting as per applicable Accounting standards
Monthly compliances – Oversee adherence to labor laws, workplace policies, and employee rights.
Ensure the company is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding wages,
benefits, and working conditions.
Expenses and payables accounting – Ensuring closure of PL & BS w.r.t expenses and payables on a
month on month basis ensuring completeness and presenting the true picture of outstandings
Credit card expenses - Monitor and approve company credit card transactions, ensuring proper
categorization and adherence to expense policies. Reconcile credit card statements and manage
payment processing.

Have 3+ years of experience of working in early start up’s either in payroll or payable’s
domain
3+ years of accounting and finance experience with progressively increasing
responsibilities
Full understanding of regulatory reporting, Income Tax Act Salary rules and compliance
in India GAAP.
Strong knowledge of Excel, Zohobook and Keka or any other HRMS tools.
Ability to handle pressure at work and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
