Job Title: Senior/ Junior Accounts Executive

Location: Perungudi, Chennai

Reporting To:  Head Finance

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable (AP), and Fixed Assets accounting processes in compliance with NBFC regulations. The role involves handling vendor payments, asset management, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP):

· Process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payments.

· Monitor outstanding payable and maintain a healthy working capital cycle.

· Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.

· Ensure TDS, GST, and other statutory deductions are correctly accounted for.

· Process employee reimbursements in line with company policies.

2. Fixed Assets Management:

· Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.

· Process asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in line with company policy.

· Conduct periodic asset verification and reconciliation.

· Calculate and record depreciation as per applicable accounting standards.

· Ensure compliance with NBFC asset management policies.

3. General Accounting & Compliance:

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.

· Support statutory audits and internal audits with necessary documentation.

· Assist in financial reporting and MIS preparation for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Fixed Assets   Accounting.

2.  Proficiency in Oracle/ Tally / ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

3. Understanding of NBFC regulatory compliance.

4. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax laws.

5. Good analytical and reconciliation skills.

6. Proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

· 2-7 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in an NBFC or BFSI sector.

· B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
