About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Associate to join our
team at StoryExperiences Pvt. Ltd. an experiential events agency known for curating large-scale,
high-impact global events. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing
financial operations for international clients, vendors, and multi-currency transactions
while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and tax regulations (including FEMA, GST,
and Income Tax).

The role requires flexibility in working hours to align with foreign time zones and ensure timely processing of international payments.
Key Responsibilities
Global Event Finance Management:
Coordinate budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for international events.
Handle cross-border vendor payments, manage multi-currency transactions and
conversions.
Ensure compliance with RBI/FEMA norms for foreign remittances.
Prepare documentation for 15CA/CB compliance and liaise with CA firms and banks.
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Zoho Books (preferred) and Tally ERP.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flows, and prepare MIS
reports.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for accurate and timely closing of
books.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, and other statutory returns.
Assist in audits (statutory and internal) and maintain proper documentation.
Team Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with the Events, Operations, and Legal teams.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for global events.
Key Skills & Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in core accounting and finance
functions. Exposure to global events or international financial operations is highly
preferred.
Software Knowledge:
- Zoho Books (preferred) and/or Tally ERP
- MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
Regulatory Understanding:
- Working knowledge of FEMA, GST, Income Tax, 15CA/CB procedures, and foreign
remittances
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to
draft clear emails and coordinate with banks, vendors, and CAs confidently.
Team Skills:
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across
departments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, BBA)
• MBA (Finance) or CA Inter will be an added advantage
