Job Summary:
The Accounts and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the
company, ensuring the integrity of financial statements, managing accounting functions, and guiding
the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting. The role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA)
with expertise in financial management, compliance, reporting, and the ability to implement
strategies that ensure the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring accurate day to day accounting and maintenance of books with proper control and
making changes that best suits the company in a changing business environment.
2. Ensuring review and timely closure of financial for the period (Monthly, Quarterly and
Yearly) in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
3. Oversee the preparation of tax returns (GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes) and ensure
compliance with tax laws and regulations.
4. Ensure timely statutory and internal audits and follow up with auditors to resolve issues.
5. Monitor changes in financial regulations and laws to ensure company compliance.
6. Consistently analysing of financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and
timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
7. Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
8. Assist in strategic decision-making by providing actionable financial insights based on data
analysis and trends
9. Manage, and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring alignment with business
objectives and continuous professional development
10. Review and approve financial transactions and statements prepared by team members to
ensure accuracy and completeness.
11. Provide support and training to team members on accounting software and financial
processes
12. Oversee the general accounting functions, including maintaining the general ledger,
accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
13. Implement robust internal controls to prevent errors and fraud, ensuring compliance with
company policies
Key Skills & Competencies:
A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of financial regulations,
tax laws, and corporate accounting standards.
Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, ERP systems, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations in India.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle complex financial situations and provide actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to solving problems.
Capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines.
