The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for handling all documentation related to international and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance with export regulations, coordinating with shipping agencies, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and verify all export documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, and other required paperwork.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and customs requirements.
Coordinate with government agencies, freight forwarders, and shipping companies for smooth shipment processing.
Shipment Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and customs agents to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
Track and monitor shipments, updating stakeholders on the status.
Resolve any documentation discrepancies or customs clearance issues.
Record-Keeping & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of export documentation.
Prepare reports related to export transactions, shipment schedules, and compliance status.
Ensure proper filing of all shipment-related documents for audit and legal purposes.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or related field.
1+ years of experience in export documentation, preferably in the manufacturing or food industry.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and export documentation software.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
