Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
Update and reconcile ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
Ensure timely entry of data into accounting systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
Prepare and send invoices to customers or clients.
Track accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
Verify and process vendor bills and staff reimbursements.
Reconcile bank statements with company accounts.
Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies.
Assist in preparing and depositing payments.
Assist in calculating and filing taxes (GST, TDS, etc.).
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Support audits by providing required financial data and documents.
Help process employee salaries and maintain payroll records.
Ensure timely deduction and payment of statutory dues like PF, ESI, etc.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly financial summaries.
Support the finance manager or senior accountant with budget preparation and analysis.
Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., HR, Sales, Procurement) for financial documentation.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, QuickBooks, etc.)
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Time management and organizational skills
Basic understanding of taxation and compliance laws
